Achievement Week

Achievement Week is an annual observance of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., established in 1920, with the purpose of recognizing and celebrating the significant contributions of individuals and organizations to society. The program is a week-long series of events, usually held in November, that aims to promote the values of perseverance, excellence, and achievement within the fraternity and the broader community.

The serves as a platform to inspire and motivate both fraternity members and the wider community to strive for excellence in their personal and professional lives, in alignment with Omega Psi Phi's cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

Talent Hunt

The Omega Psi Phi Talent Hunt Program is one of the fraternity’s most celebrated initiatives, established in 1945 to provide young African American high school students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents on a national stage. The program highlights the rich cultural heritage and creativity within the African American community by encouraging excellence in the performing arts.

The Talent Hunt competition is open to students across various artistic disciplines, including music (vocal and instrumental), dance, drama, and visual arts. Participants first compete at the local level, hosted by our chapter, with winners advancing to regional and national competitions.

The program not only provides a platform for young artists to demonstrate their skills but also offers scholarships and other awards to support their further education and artistic development.
